Good Morning:
This will be short. Just wanted to let you know since I had told everyone I was having knee replacement surgery on 5/21 that it has been postponed. I had a lot of problems getting an appointment with my cardiologist for her okay for the surgery. Long story short, I now have a new cardiologist. I will be seeing him on 5/30. I have notified both my primary care doctor and orthopedic doctor of this change. After I see my new cardiologist and get his okay for the surgery they will reschedule. I will let you know.

After I emailed you yesterday, I remembered how I had issues with my PCP getting the results of my EKG to the orthopedic surgeon in time too. My appointment for the EKG was only a few days before my surgery and I stressed to them how they needed the results 2-3 days before the surgery. The PCP said they would get them to the surgeon in time. I called the surgeon's office several times to see if they had received the test. It took a several calls to both offices nagging them about the time issue. The surgeon did get them in time, but I wonder if they would have if I hadn't kept after the PCP office.
That's a bummer that you had to have the surgery postponed. I have been thinking and praying for you. You are busy down there! Those tea towels are really neat and the fishing towels sound like a great idea. It has been a funny springtime here and now it is Memorial Day weekend already.
